Police Arrest Two Teens Who Vandalized Early Christmas Decorations

Two teens accused of vandalizing a Christmas display set up in an Ohio neighborhood to help a terminally-ill 2-year-old boy celebrate the holiday early have been arrested, police say.

Police in Colerain Township, a suburb near Cincinnati said Thursday that the two teenagers were caught after a witness saw them slashing a large Christmas decoration late Wednesday night. Some of the inflatable yard decorations included a large Santa, which were allegedly slashed by the teens.

The decorations were set up a few months early for Brody Allen, a 2-year-old boy who has been diagnosed with terminal brain cancer.

Todd Allen, Brody's father, told WCPO-TV that while he was bummed that the decorations had been deflated, but the family planned on putting him "right back up."

On Sunday, Brody will act as grand marshal for a Christmas parade that has been planned by a local community organization.
