A group of five llamas caused a stir in Provo, Utah, on Thursday (November 8) when they escaped from their owner and took a leisurely stroll along the local train tracks. The Utah Transit Authority reported the incident, which did not result in any delays to train services, according to spokesperson Gavin Gustafson.

Emergency responders were dispatched to round up the woolly wanderers after reports of their escapade reached transit officials. The llamas were first spotted on the Union Pacific line, 43 miles south of Salt Lake City.

As of 10 p.m. local time, approximately three and a half hours after the initial call, it was still unclear whether all the llamas had been successfully corralled.

Details about how the llamas managed to escape and where they originated from were not immediately available. The incident remains under investigation.
